Just got some alarming new numbers from the Tarrant County Health Department:
221 - number of confirmed patients admitted to Tarrant hospitals in LAST 24 HOURS
111 - number of suspected patients admitted to Tarrant hospitals in LAST 24 HOURS
17 - number of adult ICU beds available in Tarrant hospitals as of midnight
97 - percentage of ICU beds occupied in Tarrant
8 - number of pediatric ICU beds available in Tarrant
1,400 - number of vaccines given in Tarrant over the weekend
2,217 - number of positive tests as of THURSDAY
(New numbers for 3-day weekend will come out this afternoon, and they are expected to also be over 2,000 each day.)
JPS Hospital has seen their number of COVID patients DOUBLE since Thanksgiving.
