Dr. Perno is the vice president of medical affairs and the vice chairman of the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the hospital staff in 2003. Dr. Perno focuses on aligning clinical resources across the continuum of care to ensure quality and patient safety as well as value-based services. His responsibilities include medical credentialing and privileging oversight, assessment of medical staff performance and enhancement of care coordination and clinical pathways with community pediatricians.
