This says so much about our criminal justice system. I know a great many prosecutors across the state of Texas and some from other states. It is rare that I find one who is just pure evil, most are good souls doing their job.
The problem is really summed up with a statement I heard about our system on the morning news the day after this most recent sex trafficking charge came out...IT’S MUCH BETTER TO RICH AND GUILTY THAN POOR AND INNOCENT IN AMERICA’S JUSTICE SYSTEM.

On the Basis of Sex is a great movie. I don’t always agree with Justice Bader-Ginsberg’s decisions but I admire her passion. Watch it and see.

This is why trial prep is so important. How one sends their message is part of the communication of the words of your message, a very important part
I have clients that rant and explode during trial prep, I work with them to talk with me like they are testifying. If you rant and/or explode in regular speech, you will do the same from the witness stand.
Think about that as you go about your day. Do you present yourself to the world as you want to be seen in court, in church, or under scrutiny? You should because then it becomes the regular face you are showing to the people you are trying to persuade or impress.
Every interaction should be as if you are trying to persuade or impress. Become the person you want to be seen as you.
