I want to acknowledge an Ameriprise colleague who we tragically lost to COVID-19 earlier this week. Scott was a talented advisor who was healthy and in the prime of his life. Although I was not close to Scott, I still always looked forward to catching up with him and his longtime assistant Betsy at conferences. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and clients.

Our local celebrity, Gideon, paid us a visit last week and he just posted her picture and story to his I've Pet That Dog social media pages... where he has amassed almost a half a million followers! I pet Maria. She was found in a garage on a Christmas Eve. The woman who found her didn’t want her to go to a shelter on Xmas. Maria stayed for the holiday and never left. Her caregiver says Maria was her Xmas gift from God. Maria makes her happy, even though she eats the mail.
