J.R. concentrates his practice on employment and traditional labor litigation, compliance, training, and counseling. He advises clients in all aspects of the employment relationship, including discipline, termination, pay practices, internal investigations, union organizing and discrimination, non-competes, trade secrets, employee handbooks, organizational mergers, employment policies, NLRB and collective bargaining agreement matters, and OSHA and department of labor compliance. In addition, J.R. defends employers in single-plaintiff and class actions involving state and federal sexual harassment, wage and hour violations and class actions, workers compensation retaliation, and discrimination lawsuits under various state and federal laws.
