We are proud of and sincerely congratulate all our students who have reached their next goal in the best effort despite the difficulties of online training, as we have temporarily closed the gym due to the Pandemics of Cobid19. Also, I would like to thank the parents of the students who are supporting their children and JTC Taekwondo Center(JTC).
The JTC Taekwondo Dojang trained the qualified candidates for the preparation class for two weeks, conducted a non-face-to-face personal technical testing online, and finally completed the KyukPa promotion testing offline according to the state quarantine and safety guidelines.
*The KyukPa(breaking Techniques) testing is an essential item to examine your qualification as a black belt, while also realizing that as a taekwondo fighter, you can become a dangerous weapon depending on how you use it.
코로나-19 전염병의 확산으로 인한 체육관의 임시 폐쇄로 온라인을 통한 태권도 수련의 각종 어려움에도 굴하지 않고 쉬임없이 수련에 임해왔었던 자랑스런 제자들 모두가 승단심사에 합격하여 다음 단계의 검은 띠로 승단하게 됨을 진심으로 축하합니다. 오늘의 결과는 자식들을 위해 불철주야, 물신양면으로 헌신하고 계신 모든 부모님들의 덕분으로 감사와 존경의 말씀을 올립니다.
서정우태권도도장에서는 승단심사에 참가할 자격이 있는 관원들을 2주간에 걸쳐서 온라인 심사대비 훈련을 시키고, 온라인을 통해 비대면 개인 기술 심사를 진행했으며, 최종적으로 상대적으로 도움이 필요한 심사 항목인 격파 를 주정부 방역과 안전지침에 따라 오프라인으로 승단심사를 무사히 마쳤습니다.
*격파심사 항목은 검은 띠로서의 자격 능력여부를 심사하는 동시에, 태권도인으로서 자신이 수련한 태권도가 어떻게 사용하는가에 따라 위험한 무기가 될 수 있음을 자각시키기 위한 필수 항목이다.

The second promotion test in 2020 was held online from 4 p.m. on October 15.
Today's testing was focused on poomsae and technology available online, and the testing items that require auxiliary devices and rivals will be held offline at the Dojang from 4 p.m. next Tuesday.
For today's testing, Master/Dr. Ballon, who moved to Sarasota, Florida, participated as a judge. In addition, all applicants for today's primary non-face-to-face testing have passed the testing with excellent grades, and if they pass the second off-line testing next Tuesday, they will be awarded the next level of black belt.
You can train Kukkiwon Poomsae Taegeuk 1 Jang thru 8 Jang and all the black bekt through the KUKKIWON WORLD TAEKWONDO HEADQUARTS site.

Due to Pandemic and forest fires, there were many difficulties in the process of test the black belt. Nevertheless, congratulations to the disciples and their parents who did not give up and achieved their goal of black belt with all their heart and soul.
Our JTC Taekwondo teaches both online and offline classes. Online classes are guided by Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon, and offline classes by JTC DoJang on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
서정우태권도체육관에서는 온라인과 오프라인 클래스를 병행하여 가르치고 있다. 온라인클래스는 월, 수, 금요일 오후에, 오프라인 클래스는 화, 목요일 오후에 JTC DoJang에서 지도하고 있다.

December's Promotion Test - Group one.
Our JTC continue to teaches our students through the online Virtual Class despite another lock-down with Covid-19's winter pandemic. Most of the members attended online Virtual Class and are practicing as hard as offline class. We have three classes by rank (by color belt) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have private classes.

오전내내 몰아치던 비바람은 잦아들고 오후들어 검은 구름 뒤로 숨은 태양의 햇살들이 검은 뭉개구름 어깨너머로 우리들을 훔쳐보고 있다.
자가격리 3일 만에 온라인 클래스에서 사범들과 제자들을 지도할 수 있었다. 도착한 날 오전부터 클래스에 합류하려 했었으나, 철저한 입국절차와 자각격리를 위한 지역보건소와의 세팅작업 과정이 예상보다 오랜 시간이 필요했다.
장.단점이 있으나, 코로나19가 체육관 교육의 패러다임을 순식간에 바꾸어 놓은 계기가 되었다. 비대면 온라인 수련은 상상도 못했었던 보수적인 고정관념에서 벗어나 이제는 모든 것이 가능해졌다.
온라인 강의 와중에도 쉬임없이 울리는 전화와 카톡 벨소리에 응대하랴, 지난 주에 약속된 검은 띠 클래스의 무기술을 가르치다 보니 참가한 관원들의 파악을 위한 사진은 못찍고 말았다.
오늘도 자가격리의 3일째가 이렇게 지나가고 있었다.
