Since July 24th, wildfires have burned 4.6+ million acres across 10 states 🔥 Many animals have been affected by fires and smoke, displaced from their homes, separated from their owners, or injured during this unprecedented crisis. Oregon has been especially hard hit in September with roughly 500,000 people in evacuation warning areas and entire towns and cities destroyed. Our Washington and Oregon veterinary friends and colleagues have been working tirelessly to donate supplies to charities including World Vets, volunteering their time at local triage centers, and opening up their own hospital doors to take in injured pets. 🐶🐱 We are committed to doing the right thing and working together…

Today is World Rabies Day! Nearly 60,000 people die each year from rabies contracted through dog bites, with half being children. WA State University Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health's program Rabies Free Africa is working to eliminate rabies by 2030. This program needs your support to continue to provide vaccines to those who need it most and move us closer to a world where no child dies from canine rabies. Pippi the Papillon owes her old age and physical agility to excellent and consistent veterinary care. As a volunteer at her local humane society, this owner has seen firsthand the detrimental effects on dogs who don’t receive regular veterinary care. Regular wellness exams and dependable diagnostic testing make sure that your pets are around and healthy for many years to come!
No, it's not an ewok! This tiny 9-week old ShihTzu named Wicket was such a good pup for his exam and vaccines with us. #juanitabayvet @juanitabayvet #shihtzusofinstagram
Have you smiled today? This sweet Chocolate Lab puppy Mabel gave our Juanita Bay Vet Team unlimited smiles and laughs today and we would like to share it with you too!
This owner sends Skye & Enzo to the vet because they are a part of the family and “if humans require yearly checkups, then so do dogs!” Many pet parents worry about their cat or dog since they can’t communicate with them, which is why regular visits to the veterinarian can give you peace of mind about your pet’s health. Wellness exams help us learn more about your pet to better diagnose and treat conditions early. Enzo was diagnosed with a vision impairment that may not have been caught and treated properly without his regular checkup! 🐕 🐕 👀
