I am seasoned Family Therapist specializing in personal and relationship issues. Scroll down to see my specialties.
My approach is to help you consider your situation within the context of your family history. Gender, age, loss, education, ethnicity, religion, sibling placement, family events, play a large role in how we react to our problems. I help you learn to stop "blaming" yourself and your family members as you begin to understand the elements that bring you to looking for help.
I am certified as Clinical Supervisor with post graduate training in Hospice & Palliative Care. I managed the Hospice Bereavement Department at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ for seven years.
. During thirty years of practice I have raised children, grandchildren, and learned how life changing illnessand losing dear loved ones adds depth of understanding, empathy, and knowledge to finding new resilience.
I am easy to talk with and welcome anyone who needs a soft spot to land.
