All orders must still be placed in advance via 3dotdashvegan.com, phone ahead, or for delivery via UberEats. Masks must be worn inside to pick up & receive service & all orders are to go only. This last week we also quietly passed 2 years since we opened our kitchen in the back of @jugandbottledept. Of course this time last year we planned on doing it big for #2, but the world had other plans. We promise that both us & Jug are going to do it right once it’s safe to do so, but until then we’re going to just keep doing what we do - at a distance.

Défier is the French word for “challenge” or “dare” … we made this wine to
try to create something that hadn’t been done in quite this way before. Founded in 2017 on a wild idea that turned out better than we'd dared to hope, Défier is a California-twist homage to Cru Beaujolais. We sort whole clusters into a giant egg-shaped tank, seal it up and let it do its thing; then age 10 months in neutral French oak. Velvety and super fresh all at the same time.

Rose petal, camphor, perfumed berry, and forest floor are just some of the aromas you'll find on this gorgeous, radiant red. Taut, refined tannins and fresh acidity keep it impeccably balanced. Drink through 2031.
