Dr. Julian Sanchez graduated from medical school in 1984 and soon after dedicated two years of his life to the Colombian Army working as a medical officer. He moved to the United States in 1987, where he began his career as a Recipient of Intramural Research in the Pathology Branch at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. During his four years at this institution, he completed thirteen publications which focused on Cardiovascular techniques of transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and autoradiography to study problems in Cardiovascular Medicine.
He has been practicing medicine in Corpus Christi and Beeville, Texas since 1998, after finishing his studies in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia and his Cardiology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
