ACCIDENT STORY:
Machonta was traveling to Food4Less in National City when she was struck by a driver that had "failing brakes" and then collided with an SDG&E electrical pole! The car that hit Machonta flipped over into the middle of the intersection and crashed into other cars too! A pedestrian helped her get out of the vehicle, put her on the sidewalk, and called the police. She was transported by ambulance to Scripps Memorial Hospital. Her vehicle was totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
