Joining Northwell Health in 2017, Justin N. Virojanapa, DO is an attending neurosurgeon and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Virojanapa earned his medical degree from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his neurosurgery residency at North Shore University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete minimally invasive and complex spine surgery fellowship at Yale University.
Dr. Virojanapa is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. As an active humanitarian, Dr. Virojanapa spent time in Mae Sot, Thailand at the Mae Tao Clinic, providing medical care to Burmese refugees displaced by war at the Thai-Myanmar border.
