Merry Christmas from Ken and Monster
The Cresap rifle is done and delivered. The goal was to build a rifle that didn’t look new but rather a well loved family heirloom. Ken Johnson asked me to build a rifle like one that his ancestor Michael Cresap would have carried during his service in the Revolutionary War as the Captain of the Virginia Maryland Rifle Company. I did some research on Michael and the Cresap family and I think we nailed it in every aspect. I’m very happy with the way it turned out, this was a very fun build.
