While reviewing body camera footage, she observed law enforcement officers coercing her client's parents in an attempt to gain consent to search his room. She filed a suppression motion, resulting in the Government agreeing to dismiss all charges without so much as a written response or evidentiary hearing.

While other results of the election remain hazy, the clear winner on November 3 was marijuana.
Specifically, voters approved the legalization of medical cannabis access in two states, Mississippi and South Dakota, and legalized the possession of marijuana by adults in Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, and in South Dakota.
