Miller, M.D., Ph.D., is a pediatric neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic's Rochester, Minnesota campus. Dr. Miller specializes in pediatric epilepsy. He also manages and treats general pediatric neurosurgical conditions, including brain tumors. Dr. Miller performs deep brain stimulation for movement disorders, epilepsy and psychiatric indications in both adult and pediatric patients. He spends his clinical time managing patients with refractory epilepsy and eloquent cortex brain tumors, both in the operating room and in the outpatient setting. Dr. Miller specializes in medical research in cybernetics, neurosurgical stereotaxy and large-scale brain dynamics where he works with his research team to develop innovative treatments and therapies to advance the future of medicine.
