Because Japan is an island surrounded by large seas and an ocean most of the Japanese diet is founded on seafood. Mammal meat traditionally was eaten only occasionally. Our restaurant caters to even the pickiest taste buds whether you prefer beef, chicken, or seafood we cook it all in a unique way we know you’ll love.

KARAOKE AND COSTUME CONTEST THIS SATURDAY: DA RULES...
Open Karaoke opens at 8:00. If you wish to participate in the karaoke contest, please sign up at the DJ station with your real name, email address (So I can send you video of your performance, if you want...) and the song you wish to perform. Check the books, check the kiosk, check the pdf file of our song list attached in the comments below, or just ask me if we have the song you want. We'll accept signups through 9:30, with the contest starting immediately thereafter. Length of contest will vary depending on the number of contestants signed up. Winner will be determined by crowd cheer decibel level and enthusiasm. In the event of a tie, a second cheer session will be recorded. If no clear winner can be determined after the second cheer, the DJ and management staff will decide the tiebreaker. Winner will be awarded cash prize immediately.
Sometime between 10:30 and 11, we'll take a quick break from the karaoke contest to hold our costume contest. Signups are not necessary for this portion of the contest. When the DJ calls for contestants, please come to the front of the room and line up. The DJ will come to each contestant to ask who they are and what their costume is. This is your chance to play to the crowd! Vamp it up! Tell them why they should vote for you! As with the karaoke contest, winner will be determined by crowd cheer, with tiebreaker rules same as before. Winner will be awarded cash prize immediately. If there are singers remaining in the karaoke contest, that contest will resume immediately.
Once both contests end, we'll have open karaoke the rest of the night! Please stay with us and enjoy the tasty drinks on offer at the bar!

When sushi is rolled around or inside seaweed, it is called makizushi. Inarizushi is when rice is packed into a fried tofu pouch, and, chirashi-zushi is sushi rice served in a bowl with scattered seafood on top.
