Kamran Javaid, MD received his medical degree from the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
He most recently worked at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. He served as Chief Fellow of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Weiss Memorial Hospital. He is board certified in critical care, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine.
While in Pakistan, Dr. Javaid volunteered with the Polio Eradication Program for children and as a blood bank coordinator.
