Dr. Kapil Mehrotra is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. He is versed in a wide array of surgical techniques, including both traditional and novel computer-guided approaches.
Dr. Mehrotra completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and subsequently received his fellowship training in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Mehrotra has presented at numerous medical conferences, authored peer-reviewed journal articles and has shared his expertise in medical textbooks.
Dr. Mehrotra is a member of numerous organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Society. He has also participated in international outreach initiatives including a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
