Dr. Kathryn Williams is a urogynecologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatments of pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.A North Carolina native, Dr. Williams received her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2009, Dr. Williams went on to complete a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine in New York. After graduating from fellowship in 2016, Dr. Williams joined a private practice in Manhattan and returned to Texas to join Houston Methodist  Urogynecology Associates.Dr. Williams has a background in fine arts with a concentration in sculpture and metalsmithing. Founded on her artistic background, her attention to detail is evident in her patient care and surgical skills. As female pelvic reconstructive surgery requires meticulous attention to detail Dr. Williams's skills and interests are well suited to her chosen areas of expertise. Dr. Williams has received many surgical and teaching awards and has a strong interest in clinical research.
