Katie Harjes, NP, is an acute care nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology. She has over 10 years of experience in nursing, centered on cardiology and the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including emergency and outpatient procedures. She is passionate about educating her patients on heart disease and ways they can better their heart health. Katie believes knowledge truly is power and provides the necessary means for her patients to be in control of their own health. When not in the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, and their dog, Lexi. She likes to read, watch movies, see Broadway plays and be surrounded by her friends and loved ones.
