I saw this post today; and it made me think of the faces of some of the most amazing clients that care for their spouse even when their own bodies are failing them. We see you. We love you. In our business we really do meet the best people. Our only wish is that we would have met them sooner. 💕
It takes very little effort to be kind. If you have the chance to do something kind for someone that has had many circles around the sun, please do it! ❤️ Especially now. They are all longing to have a hug, see their friends and families like they used to, and to feel safe again.

My nephew took a video of my dad (who by the way is 91 years old) getting helped up by my brother to the combine. This is so precious! Brought tears to my eyes. And the song that happened to be playing is so fitting. Just had to share.😊

We will be adding 1 full time Nurse Navigator / Clinical Supervisor position. This position will be full time with BCBS Health Insurance and benefits. We will also be adding several PRN RN/LPN positions as we begin to add to our cares provided. We have focused primarily on non-skilled care for the last several years and are now going to add nursing positions to fill in the gaps in the skilled care between hospital discharge and skilled home health starts, and offering continued nursing care when home health has discharged. Recently I was with a client and she had gotten a new lift chair. I was completely impressed by it... it was around $400.00 - was a lift chair, recliner, with massage. It also has a cup holder and phone charger in it!! Wanted to share this link that they found because I have so many requests for this. 😊. Most chairs are well over $1000.00.

We are looking to add two part time employees for our office staff.
1) We are looking for someone to work part time Fridays, Monday, and Tuesdays to work alongside our full time scheduling person in our fun but busy office. 8-4:30pm. This person needs to be outgoing, bubbly, able to communicate with both providers and clients, and detail oriented with scheduling. It would be a bonus but not necessary for them to also have their CNA. There is potential for this to be a full time job with health benefits by mid-summer.
2) We are looking to add a part-time 10-15 hr week RN. You would be able to set your schedule to perform supervisory visits and be responsible for on-call nursing question phone calls (not being called into work) every other weekend.

We have gracious people that have donated their supplies/equipment to us when they no longer have a need.
We have a small supply of adult briefs, walkers, commode, cane, toilet risers, and bed cane, and a wheelchair.
If you know someone in need - please reach out. These items are donated to us and from us. We simply ask that when you no longer need it you bring it back or pass it on without a charge. ❤️

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical - You have some of the best, most kind-hearted people!!! These 4 responded to a call of a person in need. They (and another crew) checked in with them daily until a new lift chair could be found! (THANK YOU LAWRENCE COMMUNITY!!! ❤️)They helped haul the old one out, hook up the new one, and get the person set up. To say that this person was soooo grateful would be an understatement!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love knowing that these are the type of people that will respond should I ever need help! Thank you Engine 5!!!
