The Alcott House is a 28-story residential tower located within the Sandburg Village development. The building was constructed in the 1960’s and designed by L.R. Solomon, J.D. Cordwell and Associates of Chicago, Illinois.
The residential tower is a reinforced concrete structure with exterior walls clad in brick masonry and filled in with aluminum-framed window assemblies. At the main roof level of the tower a sundeck is provided for use by the residents.
The scope of the Roof Membrane Replacement Project addressed deficiencies in existing roofing system.

The 1960 Lincoln Park West Condominium Building is a thirty two-story, high rise residential tower with a two-story parking garage located in the basement of the tower. The building was constructed in mid 1960’s and was designed by Dubin, Dubin and Black Architects and Engineers of Chicago, Illinois. The plaza is located at the grade level of the residential tower.
The scope of the Plaza portion of the Repair Project addressed the replacement of the waterproofing membrane and the installation of a new pedestal supported concrete paver system.

1440 North Lake Shore Drive is a 35-story residential tower located in Chicago, Illinois. It was originally constructed in the early 1960’s.
The building’s structural system consists of conventional reinforced cast-in-place concrete. The concrete structure is exposed at the columns on the north and south building elevations. Exposed concrete columns and beams are also part of a large concrete canopy that covers the entrance drive on the east elevation.
The scope of the Concrete Canopy Repair addressed deficiencies in the suspended ceiling, concrete (slabs, beams) structure and roofing assemblies.

The 30 East Division Building is a 16-story residential tower with a 3-story parking garage located at the base of the tower. The building was constructed in the late 1960’s and designed by Alexander Associates of Chicago, Illinois.
The parking garage is located at the basement floor, 1st floor and mezzanine floor of the residential tower. The lower 2 floors are enclosed and the upper floor is an open air structure.
The scope of the Parking Garage Repair Project addressed deficiencies in the structural concrete elements (decks, ramps) and the installation of a new waterproofing membrane system.
