The sites are at the Calcasieu Parish School Board, 3310 Broad St. and Sulphur Regional Library1160 Cypress St. They are open seven days a week, 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. Walk-up sites, open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., are open at DeQuincy City Hall and Morningstar Baptist Church in Vinton.
The sites were temporarily closed this week due to the threat of severe weather from Tropical Storm Beta.
To register for FEMA federal disaster assistance, call 1-800-621-3362 or register online at disasterassistance.gov. The deadline to apply is Oct. 27.
