As a midwife, Kelly’s philosophy is to support women in making thoughtful and informed decisions about their healthcare during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Midwives Association of North America. Kelly’s clinical interests include nutritional counseling, group prenatal care, pregnancy, birth & postpartum care, well-woman care, annual exams, birth control options, STI screening, breast feeding support and supporting women in choosing un-medicated birth. Kelly was a middle and high school teacher for over a decade before becoming a doula in 2005 and a nurse-midwife in 2011. She loves animals, and has a yellow lab, 3 cats and backyard chickens. She spends her time off recharging by traveling to the mountains, the coast, or to visit with family in California or Virginia.
