This week, our awesome SLC dealership teams from Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown, Hyundai Southtowne, Honda Downtown, and Nissan Salt Lake partnered with the Voluntary Services at the George E. Whalen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake to host a safe drive-through to provide free Thanksgiving dinners to veterans and their families! Our dealership teams purchased and assembled 500 Thanksgiving meal kits including pumpkin pie, sides from Smith's Marketplace, and frozen turkey from Pitman Farms-Norbest Division and helped safely distribute them to our veterans at the VA Medical Center!
It was an amazing experience to be able to give back in a small way to our community's veterans and their families. Huge thank you to the the Voluntary Services team at the George E. Come drive through at the VA Medical Center on Tuesday, 11/10, between 11 AM - 2 PM to pick up your Thanksgiving dinner box (including turkey, side dishes, and pumpkin pie)!
The drive-through will be located in the parking lot in front of Building 9 near the auditorium. First come, first serve! Please remember to wear masks and be safe!
