Structure Fire / 2700 block Wayfaring Lane - On Tuesday, September 22, at 10:09 p.m., Lisle Police Officers responded with Lisle-Woodridge FD for a multi-unit structure fire. Officer Bill Wise, a 21-year veteran of the Lisle PD, was close by at the time of the fire and quickly arrived on the scene. Bystanders informed him that a 14 year-old boy was trapped in the basement of one of the units. Officer Wise forced entry into the unit but was initially overcome by flames & smoke. Rushing to the rear of the unit, he was able to remove articles that blocked a window well and pull the child from the basement egress window. Wise and the teenager were both treated for smoke inhalation & exhaustion at the scene. Officer Wise was transported to a local hospital where he received additional treatment and was released early this morning.

Dear Patients of Kendall Pointe Dental,
First and foremost, I hope that you and your loved ones have stayed healthy during the last few months. I want to take the time to thank each of you and your families for entrusting me with your care over all these years. I have enjoyed getting to know all of you as both patients and friends. Although it is a difficult decision, I have chosen to officially retire at the end of the year. My final day seeing patients in the office will be December 16th, 2020.
Although I will no longer be in the office, the wonderful team you have become accustomed to will remain. We are also in the process of searching for another doctor to work with Dr. Mike Subtelny, so get excited for another phenomenal dentist to be joining the team.
It has been an honor to be your dentist here over all these years. It is bittersweet, as I will truly miss each and every one of you. Your dental needs are in exceptional hands, and I know the team at Kendall Pointe Dental will provide all of you with great care for years to come.

My name is Dr. Ravi Barot, and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Kendall Pointe Dental. I’d love to share a little bit more about myself with you! I graduated top of my class from Loyola University Chicago where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After undergrad I went on to attend Midwestern University in Downers Grove where I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society. Additionally I have completed continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, laser therapy, Invisalign®, botulinum toxin, same-day crowns and am dedicated to be at the forefront of dentistry in order to provide the most current dental care available.
I am committed to providing exceptional, comprehensive dental care to my patients in a friendly and caring environment, with a focus on education and encouragement towards a state of optimal oral health.
When I’m not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family. I’m a sports enthusiast, love to travel, and have a passion for the arts. I’m very involved in the community and volunteer at my local temple.

Here at our office we are thankful every day for our dental assistants, but this week especially we are making a point of celebrating and appreciating them for all they do not just for Doctor but for all of us. We appreciate you!
It's National Dentist's Day! Today is recognized as a day to show appreciation and thanks for your dentists, as well as to remind you to care for your teeth!
