Dr. Kenneth Brooks is a highly trained surgeon with 10 years of experience performing advanced orthopedic procedures. He has cared for patients in the Greater Bay Area for the past seven years. Dr. Brooks believes effective communication is the foundation for a successful physician-patient partnership. He empowers his patients with information to make the treatment decision that is right for them and then determines a positive plan of care. He also believes each patient can realize the outcome he or she seeks through a positive and motivated approach to their plan of care. Dr. Brooks engages in each person's care with the same passion and commitment he would give if he were the patient.While in medical school, Dr. Brooks discovered his true desire to help people of all ages return to the sports and activities they love. He earned a fellowship in sports medicine from Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Mich., and a second fellowship in joint replacement and adult reconstruction from the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston.Dr. Brooks is board certified and focuses on sports medicine and joint replacement. He is active professionally as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and Texas Orthopaedic Association.
