As a board eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in neck and lower back pain, Kenneth Nwosu, MD, believes in the many benefits of minimally invasive surgical techniques to achieve pain relief and a faster recovery for his patients. Dr. Nwosu is skilled in the latest surgeries to address chronic pain and mobility issues caused by underlying disease or injury and offers a variety of surgical options at his orthopedic practices in Burien and Puyallup, Washington.
Graduating from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Nwosu went on to finish a fellowship in spine surgery at the Harvard Combined Spine Fellowship Program, affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Nwosu is an active member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Nwosu continues to perform extensive research in spinal surgery. He is a published author who also speaks about his surgical research at presentations within the medical community.
Dr. Nwosu’s personal philosophy focuses on working closely with each patient on the decision to pursue surgery and other necessary treatments to ensure the best outcome. His goal for minimally invasive techniques is to get patients feeling better faster and returning to a physically active lifestyle as soon as possible.
When not working with his patients, Dr. Nwosu is an avid hiker, and enjoys backpacking and traveling with his family to discover new cultures and foods. He’s also passionate about helping the underserved in the community, often volunteering his time and skills to assist those in need.
