General Power of Attorney is the one that most people think of when considering setting them up. This gives your agent full power to handle your affairs as you would for yourself. They can pay bills, sign documents, and conduct business on your behalf. This power is typically rescinded upon your death or incapacitation.
A LIMITED power of attorney gives someone else the power to act on your behalf for a very limited purpose.An example might be creating a power that limits your attorney to purchasing a piece of land on your behalf and then having that Power of Attorney dissolve following the fulfilment of that particular task.
