Dr. Kelly treats patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders. He is experienced at interpreting EEG studies and performing lumbar punctures. Since 1988, he has received multiple National Institutes of Health Grant Awards and other funding for his research into how stroke and traumatic brain injury can result in epileptic seizures.
Dr. Kelly received his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency at University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he also completed fellowships in Neuropharmacology and EEG and Epilepsy.
