Dr. Pimstone is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Pimstone earned his undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles with a BA degree in Psychology. He earned his medical degree from University of Minnesota, where he received awards for his research in liver diseases. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Pimstone comes from a long line of doctors. He enjoys practicing primary care medicine, with a special interest in preventative care and weight loss counseling. He has adult patients of all ages, from young adults to centenarians.
Dr. Pimstone greatly enjoys teaching medical students the art of physical examination, volunteers his skills treating uninsured patients in a free clinic, and is on various medical and nursing home committees. In his spare time, he relishes spending time with his family, hiking in the mountains, and photography.
