Khaled Nashar, MD, FASN is the Division Chief of Nephrology at AHN. He has been a member of AHN Nephrology Associates for 8 years. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and he is also certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a hypertension specialist.
Dr. Nashar is involved in residents and fellows education. He has been the program director for Nephrology fellowship for the last few years.
Dr. Nashar's areas of interest include Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease and Transplant nephrology. He has several peer-reviewed publications and has given presentations at a variety of Nephrology, Transplant and Hypertension journals and national meetings.
Dr. Nashar is very active in community services; he chairs the medical advisory committee of the National Kidney Foundation and volunteers regularly in the NKF's screening programs.
Dr. Nashar sees patients at Northside and Bloomfield offices. He attends at Allegheny General Hospital, West Penn Hospital and Heritage Valley Hospital in Sewickley.
