Mohave County has transitioned from Phase 1a of COVID-19 vaccination administration to Phase 1b. Due to limited vaccine availability nationwide, it will be necessary to sub-prioritize the vaccine administration within Phase 1b. It is not known how long it will take to receive sufficient vaccines for the entire 1b category. The County Public Health Department will follow the Arizona Vaccine and Antiviral Prioritization Advisory Committee (VAPAC) recommendations for administration of the COVID-19 vaccine in Phase 1b. The VAPAC has developed the following phase 1B subcategories: 1. Protective Services Occupations 2. Adults 75 and Older 3. Education and Childcare Workers 4. Essential Services/Critical Industry Workers 5. Adults with Risk Conditions in Congregate Settings Persons are encouraged to continue to monitor the Public Health website at https://covid-19-mohave.hub.arcgis.com/ to obtain the most current information.
