🍎Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT)🍎
DPHHS, OPI Urge Families to Apply for P-EBT Nutrition Assistance. This program was launched in response to COVID-19 and reimburses families of school-aged children (5-18) who lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to school closures as a result of COVID-19. The benefit is a one-time only payment of $330 per eligible child in the household. The payment amount is calculated at $5.70 for 58 missed school days for the 2019-20 school year.
Families that have not yet received the P-EBT benefit, but believe they are eligible can apply for the Program. Applications must be submitted by September 21, 2020. https://app.mt.gov/accessgov/dphhs/Forms/Page/dphhs-hcsd/pebtapp/1

This month the children have been learning about the letters H, B and A.
Today they discovered site words that start with these letters and even wrote them in shaving cream.
They then made a brain mold out of colored noodles!

Today we learned about different ways to transport around the world. The children had to use their problem solving skills to make an airplane using tape and popsicle sticks.
