Our last, but definitely not leat teacher introduction is our Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher, Ms. Haimanti.
Ms. Haimanti has earned her Master's Degree in Economics. She has worked in daycares like Primrose and Tutor Time. She also worked as a substitute teacher for Fulton and Forsyth County for the past four years. Within the daycares, she primarily worked with the 2's and 3's and in the public schools she worked with Pre-K until 5th grade. As parents, it’s easy to feel guilty when we resort to using TV to entertain or educate our kids. But are we being too hard on ourselves when we do that? The short answer is, “Yes.”
Here are our recommendations for guilt-free viewing for your child.

This Halloween, we're thanking our community's essential workers by dressing up like our local heroes! To join in the fun, help your child dress as their favorite essential worker for Halloween.
Here at Kiddie Academy of Alpharetta, our children are hard at work creating thank you cards/posters and all sorts of arts and crafts to show our appreciation for our local fire department. Keep a look out for a follow up post!

Today our toddler classroom, the Couragepus Cougars, learned all about Apples 🍎 They participated in an apple picnic, read the story 'Ten Apples Up' by Dr. Seuss, and went 'apple picking'.
They used their gross motor skills to pull the apples of the tree and place it into their basket!
"The Thank You Book" by Mo Wiliams, part of the Elephant & Piggie series, is a wonderful way to reinforce the concept of being appreciative and thankful to your child ❤️🐘🐷 It features the story of Piggie's "Thank-o-rama" - full of shoutouts to all the wonderful characters in her world.

Our infants in the Tiny Tigers 🐅 examined simple objects and attempted to put objects into other objects, by completing the shape box. They also watched objects move, by pushing the button on the spinner!

Practicing kindness helps us to be more deeply attached to other people’s feelings, thoughts and experiences. Compassion begins to develop in the very first years of life. In this unpredictable world, there's nothing more important than being kind and showing your child how to be kind, too. #WorldKindnessDay
Our best wishes to all celebrating Diwali. We wish you and your loved ones happiness, prosperity, and good health.
