We had such a great Staff Training today! We spent lots of time on Licensing and COVID guidelines and regulations, Music & More, Character Essentials and Lesson Plans. We played some team building games and had some great laughs! Despite the weather we had a great day. We are lucky to have such an amazing team!

Ok, the votes are in!!! Today while learning about elections and voting we had our very own 2020 KA election. We voted on what we enjoy more, Robots or Dinosaurs. It was a pretty close call. 47 votes to 32.

Our Kindergarten Prep class recently learned and reviewed vocabulary relating to size. They laid next to a life size
Gingerbread Man and decided if they were smaller, larger or the same size as it. They also tried to estimate what who was closest in size to the Gingerbread Man!

To extend their interest even further, Ms. Ashely and Ms. Lianna held an "E I O" scavenger hunt! Their friends searched the classroom for the letters and identified which ones they found!

East Brunswick Public Schools Announces 2021-2022 Kindergarten Registration
This week, our preschool class read the story about the Princess and the Pea. After, they worked on creating art work representing the multiple mattresses that the princess had to sleep on. With the help of their teacher, they cut the strips and glued them onto construction paper.
February was a busy month! This month we celebrated Dental Health Month, Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day, the 100th day of school, and Black History Month. We made new friends, experimented with snow, exercised our bodies and minds and some of us became big brothers and sisters! Our character Essentials Theme for this month was 'We are Unique'. We shared what makes each of us unique and learned how special we all are in our own way. February was great, but we cannot wait for March! Bring on SPRING!!! 🌺🍀🐇
