Today we honor all the wonderful teachers in our state and beyond who work so hard and sacrifice so much to educate young minds. We are so proud of all of you and the many challenges you have faced in this unprecedented period in history. Most of all, we express our gratitude and sincere appreciation for what you give to children, our community, and the world-at-large.
This week in Fitness Stars, we give our dancing deltoids a workout as we dive into the deep blue seas and swim around to help our fish friends find their families! Check out October's Newsletter attached below and all the EXERciting adventures we'll be doing next month in class. October is Fire Safety Month. We'll be reviewing Preschoolers Fire Safety in our discussions this week and next.

As part of the School Age CARES enrichment program Roper Mountain science on wheels will visit them every week rotating Wednesday’s and Thursday’s so that all the children can be part of the fun. #kiddieacademyoffiveforks
Our School Age classroom is coming along! Tomorrow starts the first day of full day virtual learning/school age pick up. We are excited to use our brand new classroom that will have lots of space for moving around the classroom while working on school work. Just a few more Finishing touches and we will be complete.

Today we had a visit from Mrs. Laura with Smile Place! The kids learned how to properly take care of their teeth to prevent cavities. We had a lot of fun activities this week which included painting circles with different objects in Miss. Sam & Miss. Daisy's class, K4 explored with water beads, K5 wrote about what they thought was the most important part of their body, enjoyed the sunshine and baby snuggles!

Today in Fitness Stars, we are heading down to Cowtown. The stock show is in town! We are going to buck with the broncos, learn to lasso, hang out with the horses, and even muck out the stalls! Our discussion this week is on Vitamin K. Vitamin K is important for blood clotting and healthy bones. We review some natural sources of Vitamin K, see our handout attached below.

Kiddie Academy of Five Forks will be hosting an in person Job Fair on Tuesday February 2nd and Wednesday February 3rd from 9-1. We have full time and part time positions available. Please come visit us to complete an application and a brief interview with our Academy Director. No appointment needed just pop in!
