Hello Everybody! Here at Kiddie Academy of Hicksville we celebrated our campers various talents. We decided to have a talent show in which campers performed in front of an audience. Check out their skills and talents and encourage your child to find their talents.
Kiddie Academy of Hicksville is introducing FULL - DAY Kindergarten program & FULL - DAY School Age program for school year starting September 2020.
Being responsible means being dependable, keeping promises, and honoring your commitments. When one is responsible, one shows independence and diligence when carrying out tasks and making decisions.
Our Character Essentials theme for May was “We are responsible.” Children in our classrooms learn all about how responsibility shows independence and conscientiousness.

Kiddie Academy of Hicksville is very thankful for all the support from our community, families, and teachers. As we continue to be open during this time, we are encouraged by all the thoughtful cards, messages, pictures, and phone calls that we have received. Here is a thoughtful letter that we received from the Office of Children and Family Services:

You have gone above and beyond during the unprecedented time of COVID-19, by consistently provided unmatched care to the children in your communities. You are not only child care providers, but advocates for the children and families you serve. For families who would not have access to child care without you- you are lifesavers. For parents who need to work to support their children- you are a caregiver while they are away. To the children you serve when they are ill- you are comfort and support. Your dedication to this career helps plant the seeds of growth for infants, toddlers, and school-age children who have a fuller future because of you. The NYS Office of Children and Family Services would like to recognize the unparalleled care you've provided in the midst of great adversity. Without the care you provide, our future would be less bright."
These wonderful words, plus the many more from all our parents, truly warm all of our hearts at Kiddie Academy of Hicksville, and we can not wait till we can see all of our families back at the school again.
