Our weekly theme this week is emotions. During today's activity we talked, and expressed the different feelings and emotions we feel in different situations. We showed the children different pictures of people for example (smiling, sad, and tired etc). We talked about those feelings and why we feel like that sometimes. We also discussed ways to help us express those feelings in age-appropriate ways.

After reading "The Mitten", the children decorated their own mittens! They each picked the color of their mittens and we counted how many mittens we had to reinforce numbers!
