This month’s Character Education focus is “We Have Feelings.” Stop by our lobby display to check out some examples of emotions and encourage your child to use the mirrors, charts, and other resources to reflect on how they are feeling today!
October’s Character Essentials focus is “We Have Feelings”... and boy, do we ever! It’s important to teach our children that it’s okay to express their feelings... in appropriate ways. You can try role playing at home and model some effective ways to display emotions. Helpful Tip: It can be just as impactful to model NON-examples! 😁🥺😡🥱

We ended the day with a great staff meeting... informative, collaborative, and uplifting! We celebrated the awards our academy received as well as some special anniversaries! At tonight’s staff meeting, we differentiated our learning by splitting into 3 groups that focused on writing progress reports, creating engaging theme-based activities, and supporting students’ abilities to solve conflict. We also celebrated this special lady who reached her one year anniversary... congrats Ms. Zanesha! 🎉
Our 3 year olds are thoroughly enjoying their hands-on, theme-related centers! Whether they are pretending to be on a safari searching for jungle animals or milking a cow on a farm, they are learning so much!
“I’m glad you are here today” is something that people ages zero to 99 love to hear... and we have 2 staff members who we are SO GLAD to have here all the time with great attendance! 🏆 Congrats to Ms. Carly for best September attendance and big shout out to Ms. Aida who had perfect attendance from July-Sep! We appreciate your commitment to our team, families, and students!

We welcomed back our staff and students after our ❄️ snow day with “Llama Llama Red Pajama Day” - we got to wear our comfy pjs and enjoy a fun story book! A great way to return after an unexpected long weekend! 📕
