Autumnal fun is in full effect here at KAQ! Our teachers have made great use of their Family Communication Boards in our new monthly contest...every month has a new theme, and they do a peer vote to determine the winner! For the month of October, our theme was Autumn/Halloween 🍁🎃 we had a tie for the win between Chicks and Fawns!

Our September Spotlight is shining on... Mr. Kyle! Since his start with us in April 2018, he quickly became one of the most beloved teachers, and then moved on up to be our PM Supervisor. With one step onto the playground or into a classroom, he is instantly covered in kiddos who want to climb him like a jungle gym or just get some hugs and love. Thank you for being such an amazing part of this family, Mr. Kyle!

I am pleased to announce the formation of our Virtual Support Classroom! This SMALL classroom will provide the individual support needed for each child as they navigate their own virtual schooling experience. The class has been capped at 12 for the first 4 months (January) and there are only 3 full time spots left. (2 spots are available for a M/F schedule). Kindergarten through 12 years old (6/7th grade) are able to attend. We are able to serve ALL school districts (Upper Perk, QCSD, Pennsburg etc).

October's spotlight is shining on... Miss Ann! She joined our KAQ family in October of 2019 and is celebrating her one year anniversary with us. She quickly found a home in our Ponies classroom helping ready our little ones for kindergarten. Miss Ann is a wonderful teacher and coworker and this month, we celebrate her!

I would like to take this time to thank you all for the love and support you have given us this year. 2020 has really thrown us ALL for a loop and your continued cheers have made it worth while. We have grown back to approximately 85% of our pre-covid numbers and that is fantastic! Our staff is fully back and we have had to hire to fill more spots. One of the most heart warming moments of the year came when I randomly posted about the costs of gloves on my own Facebook page and many of YOU came to our aid by sending gloves, wipes, laundry detergent, and other PPE/Cleaning items. With this in mind I have updated out Amazon Wish List. We could use your help again. The extra costs of the needed Covid Precautions continue to make operation difficult. I will do whatever I need to do to keep our family safe. Please consider checking out the wish list.

Our November Spotlight is shining on... Miss Angie! She recently celebrated her one year anniversary as a member of our KAQ family in October. While she is dynamite in any group from our Babies to our School Agers, she found a home with our Two Year Olds and they love her dearly...as do we!

February's Spotlight is shining bright on... Miss Meg! After starting with us back in 2017, she quickly found a home with our rambunxious three year olds. She takes wonderful care of our snuggly little Cubs and we are so thrilled to have such a unique, caring soul as part of our team. We love you Miss Meg!

Kiddie Academy of Quakertown is currently hiring for a FULL TIME Lead teacher. An associates degree or bachelors degree in education or related field is required. Experience with young children is preferable. We also continue to look for full and part time assistant teachers. A high school diploma and some childcare experience is required (babysitting counts).
