We continue to advocate for Early Childhood Educators to receive the same treatment as K-12 educators regarding receiving priority access to the optional Covid-19 vaccine.
We ask Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Health to prioritize child care workers in the same category as K-12 teachers. Not only will it save lives, but it will also send a clear message that they are truly essential and not expendable or less worthy than teachers serving children in a public school setting.
Early Childhood Educators were essential, are essential, and will continue to be essential.

Affectionately known as Ms. Sherm ....maybe if we could get her access to the vaccine as an Early Childhood Teacher we could have kept her in the classroom but she is retiring after 40 years of preparing children for kindergarten and she is an amazing Educator.
Meet me Monday 1/25 at 430p in the parking lot between Taco Bell and McDonald's and we are going to give her a grand drive by send off....6411 East Main.
