Today we learned that spiders have eight legs AND eight eyes! Then we made silly spider hats! 🕷
How fun are these Halloween tangrams?!?
Like building blocks, tangrams teach children about spatial relationships. They can help children learn geometric terms and develop stronger problem solving abilities. They might even help children perform better on tests of basic arithmetic!

Today we learned about fall weather and used broccoli to stamp leaves on trees! 🍁
SPOOKY SPEEDWAY was a success. Thank you for everyone who came out!! The costumes were on-point!!

We LOVE exploring science at KPA!
Science helps children develop key life skills, including an ability to communicate, remain organized and focused, and even form their own opinions based on observation. Science also helps children develop their senses and overall awareness.
Items such as magnets, magnifying glasses, kaleidoscopes and sensory bottles are available to children in their classrooms so that they can explore their environment in different ways.
Our friends read a classic today (The Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats) and then painted puffy snow scenes!

If you’d like to try this at home, “The Snowy Day” is available to watch on Amazon Prime. To make puffy paint, mix equal parts of shaving cream and white glue and spread with a paintbrush or spatula!
It was a very merry Grinchmas at KPA today! Our friends decorated gingerbread houses, created Whoville trees, exchanged books, enjoyed a Grinch themed lunch and watched The Grinch!
