This muscle is just under your calf muscles on the inside of your shin. This long muscle inverts and plantar flexes the ankle (like when you push off to walk, run or jump) but it has an even more function- it supports the arch of the foot! In high impact sports, this little guy takes a beating and sometimes with overuse can actually cause your feet to flatten (pes planus). This leads to extra stress on the knee, ankle and hip joints! Since the C🦠Vid-19 vaccine has come out there have been a lot of questions. So we wanted to clear up a couple of misconceptions..
🔴Myth 1: “The vaccine is a dead or lessened version of the virus.”
🔵Fact 1: It is a piece of mRNA, a recipe for your body to make a protein! Once this happens, the body can build an immune response and the body can produce antibodies.
🔴Myth 2: “Getting the vaccine means you will not get infected by the virus.”
🔵Fact 2: Getting the vaccine causes your body to have some immunity. You may still be infected and even have symptoms. However, the symptoms should be much less severe.
