About Alexis Downing
Alexis M. Downing is a founding partner of King Downing PLC, located in Leesburg, Virginia. Alexis maintains a diverse trial practice in both civil and criminal law. In addition to federal and state trial work, Alexis has successfully argued cases before the Virginia Supreme Court. Alexis’ trial practice areas include complex commercial disputes, white collar criminal defense, custody and support disputes, real estate disputes, and general criminal defense. Alexis enjoys taking on court-appointed cases at the state and federal level as well as handling certain matters on a pro bono basis.
Prior to forming King Downing PLC, Alexis spent four years as a trial lawyer with the Loudoun Office of the Public Defender. Alexis has also clerked for state and federal judges. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Alexis worked as a Database Administrator for Intuit, a financial services company.
