Dear King of Kings Families,
Due to a number of COVID positive cases among school families, as well as faculty and staff, the School Administration Team has determined that it would be best to postpone the return to school of all classrooms (preschool-eighth grade) until Monday, January 11. Our hope and prayer is that this extra time will help all those who are sick and in isolation/quarantine return to full health.
Please join us in praying that our merciful Lord will grant healing to those affected by this disease. May the peace of God, as shown through the birth of his Son, continue to rule in your hearts, as we follow him in these difficult times.
We thank God for allowing us to return safely to campus for in-person instruction!

Per our approved plan, if a member of a classroom cohort tests positive for COVID-19, the entire classroom will transition to an online format. Upper grade parents have been sent an email detailing how this transition will take place. ➡️💻

🧦With the colder winter months upon us, our school has another opportunity to help those in need. From now until Friday, February 26, we will be collecting socks and hygiene items to give to those in need.

🎯Our goal is to collect over 100 new pairs of men’s’, women’s’ and children’s socks. We will also be collecting basic hygiene items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, diapers and baby wipes.

🎉All items can be brought in to your child’s classroom. Every day that a student brings in an item, they will have their name entered in a drawing to win a free t-shirt.

The socks, along with any donated hygiene items, will be distributed between three local organizations who provide emergency services (food, clothing, etc.), social services (counseling, etc.) and transitional services (training, housing counseling, etc.) to those in our community who are most vulnerable.

For 49 years, Good Shepherd Bible Camp (GSBC), has been providing the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and Christian fellowship to kids from 4th to 10th grade. It’s a full week (6 nights/days) of fun in the California mountains during July.
Our chapel offerings will help support the camp as they look forward to welcoming campers in summer 2021 for their 50th anniversary summer!
