LABOR DAY UPDATES: In observance of Labor Day, Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation administrative office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Labor Day holiday hours for other facilities are as follows:
Charley Taylor Recreation Center, Tony Shotwell Life Center, Dalworth Recreation Center and The Summit 50+ Club – closed
The Epic – closed
Prairie Lakes Golf Course – open, Peak Day rates apply
Tangle Ridge Golf Course – open, Peak Day rates apply
Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake and Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake– open 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. There will be a $20 entry fee per vehicle for the day.
Kirby Creek Natatorium – closed
McFalls, Bowles and Tyre Pools and Splash Factory Water Playground – closed for the season.
Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark – open 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

DELAYED OPENING - Due to the winter weather advisory, Kirby Creek Natatorium will have a Delayed opening of 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12 & Saturday, February 13.
The Natatorium will also be closed Sunday, February 14 as part of our current modified operations.

Yesterday Governor Abbott lifted the mask mandate and increased the allowable capacities back to 100%. We know many of you are anxious to know how this will affect City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation facilities. Currently, city management is evaluating the various needs and options for each individual facility in order determine the most appropriate next steps. Additional information will be posted as soon as it becomes available

Effective Wednesday, March 10, masks will be highly recommended but not required to enter City of Grand Prairie facilities. However, for your safety, city staff will continue to follow recommended health protocols, including wearing masks. All other current modifications to the operations at individual facilities will remain in effect until further notice.
