Kirsten enjoys primary care for the opportunity it allows to build long-lasting relationships with patients. She focuses on active listening and helps patients achieve their health goals through lifestyle and nutritional changes, complementary and integrative medicine, and traditional evidence-based care. She is particularly interested in men’s health, hypertension, lipid disorders, and immune disorders. Kirsten is excited to return to the Bay area after years away, caring for veterans and treating complex chronic medical issues. She is an avid skier, volunteers with United States Figure Skating, and enjoys juicing. Kirsten graduated from Stanford University and completed her medical studies at the University of Utah where she graduated first in her class and was awarded the prestigious Wintrobe prize. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
