What should I do with this beautiful slab of spalted maple? I have a few ideas. A clock, a center piece, a multi-bowl candy dish, a condiment holder on a spinner. My plan is to fill the naturally occurring checks and cracks with a dark epoxy resin and wing something from there. It is about 23 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches thick. If you have other ideas of what this should become, let me know what they are!
