This dingy bathroom was given a much-needed upgrade! With the lack of lighting in the old bathroom, it felt dark, cramped, and very dated. With the new floor to ceiling shower tile, glass shower doors, light-colored countertops, and a fresh coat of paint, this bathroom feels very spacious, modernized, and has an ample amount of lighting for a cozy bathroom space.

While natural stone looks very appealing, it's not a good idea to use it in your shower. Natural stone materials like marble, slate, and limestone are very porous. This means that they absorb moisture very easily which will cause the tile to dry out.
When the tile dries out, it creates this white haze all over your shower. Instead, you want to use porcelain or ceramic tile in your shower design. Using porcelain or ceramic tiles will ensure a beautiful and long-lasting design.
